I’ve been living in Ipanema for two-weeks now due to my new job. Everyday I discover a new hidden gem. Devassa is not that hidden, but it’s definitely worth a go. It’s a great place to go after work on the weekdays. A co-worker took me there for a happy hour beer. What a beer! Delicious drafted cool beer to ease off a tough day’s stress. My tip is: order some food as well.

Rio is a place with enormous natural beauty, it is surrounded by mountains, loads of forests, beautiful beaches, very good restaurants and bars, free music in every corner, delicious fruit juices and coconut water everywhere and above all, the people are very welcoming and helpful. I have never had the feeling that it was “us and them” ...

I got my wisdom tooth surgically removed at MultiOral dental clinic in Ipanema. What a relief! The doctor who made the procedure spoke fluent English, was very calm, professional and reassuring. I guess that made all the different. In just a couple of days I was able to go back to enjoying the beach and my beloved caipirinhas.

Just the best place in Rio for drinks! I´ve tried a lots os differents caipirinha´s flavours and all of those was just delicious!
The atmosphere is great, is a funky bar, with amazing snacks. I had a burger made with Carne Seca, like....really brazilian!

Travel and sightseeing is quite hard! You just walk walk the whole day...after 2 weeks you feel really bad and tired!
When I was in Rio, I went to a Spa, called by Maria Bonita, in Ipanema. And it really worth it. I had a relaxing massage and a shiatsu. They have so many kinds of massages and therapies. It was so good!!! Excellent choice!!

Great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful view of "Lagoa". When the sun sets, is even more beautiful. The restaurant becomes lightly with candles...Great amazonic food and nice rustic decoration, made by wood. Very romantic place, I could say....Magic!!!

It´s located at Botafogo, quite easy to find. Me and my husband had an amazing dinner there.

An interesting option for tourists, the Galdino Campos Clinic can combine technical excellence with the best in attendance. Perfect for tourists, very well located, in the heart of Copacabana, the clinic is always a good thing for the injured and sick who do not want to risk yourself by the precarious service of public health.
The staff is really helpful and also an english, french and spanish speakers.

My stay in Rio de Janeiro was so special!! Besides the magic city, there are lots of good options for restaurants there. And certainly one of the best restaurants i´ve been was Azul Marinho.
