I am the son of two Porteños living in NYC, and I love it so much, I go back every holiday season! I do this not only to visit all my friends and family, but also to experience the amazing food, wine, activities and restaurants. Some places to go to are La Cabrera Norte (great meat!), Jangada (great fish!) and El Palacio de la Papa Frita (the best fries on earth!).

People are beautiful, restaurants are amazing and life is beautiful.
Full of things to do in Buenos Aires, night life is amazing.
Safety is like any other mega city in the world but felt pretty safe there.
It is like fine European dinning, stylish people but not overpriced like europe Not to many ovrweight people like North America. ...

In fact, I'm going in 2 days for my 3rd time. Yes, if you are stupid you could get a purse snatched in a few touristy areas, but if you are smart and aware, you are in for an amazing trip. It is beautiful and inexpensive and the food is utterly amazing. Love the wine too. The people are very nice. Rent an apartment and stay for a week. It will get a hold on you!

Prices are very competitive and the people is extreamly nice and helpful....I love it and recommend it to others.

I feel very secure at all time, food and night life are excellent.

Transportation is very nice and convenient.

Great place to go, really safe, great atmosphere, the peopl are nice, the wine is great, the beef amezing, the people are beatiful, the city has tons of culture. The nightscene is good, the clubs are banging, the caffes are good, the cuisine is good. You feel like you are out of south america,i come from caracas, venezuela, been in mexico city, ...

Walk around, sip some coffee or tea or mate, stroll some more, stop for wine and fine food, indulge in world class theater, get lost in a myriad of bookstores, sit in some of the most magnificent parks and plazas, and be greatful that you have seen life as it should be: armonious, passionate, tumultuous, enregetic, calm, vibrant, lazy... this is my kind of town... sorry Chicago.
