Cairns is as they say"AbsolutelyFabulous". I've had 3 trips there now & plan to visit every year this wonderful part of the world. So relaxing & warm, throughout the year, but July & August seem to be just endless days of sunshine. So much to enjoy that I could never tire of enjoying its beauty and scenery. Lovely people, friendly and helpful, I want to live there one day!

i loved everything about caines,the hotel oasis was so clean, the staff were incredible, i really couldnt fault anything about the oasis hotel or caines, the one thing i will say is if u dont like the heat u wont enjoy the holiday, but myself and my family had the holiday of a lifetime,

This was one of the two major highlights of our family trip to Cairns. It was well thought out and interactive. The (adult) kids liked it as much as we did. The special effects were great but the Aboriginal Dancers were spectacular, friendly and accomplished in their art. Worth every dollar and more. Would highly recommend that you dont miss it. We went to the evening show which was full of fire and imagination. Food was good too.

If you live farther than 50 miles from these clubs you can sign in as a visitor at no charge. The best club in Cairns is "Brother's". The inexpensive food and drink are not just a bargain but really great, there's free entertainment and you'll meet the locals. There are"pokies",(slot machines) too. I love Cairns and return every year.

Fantastic place, beautiful weather, awesome nightlife. The scenery is breathtaking, although alot of rain, it keeps it looking nice and green! as apposed to Townsville(don't go there unless you have a relatives there!). The population isn't 96, 000, it happens to be 140,000(in response to previous Cairns comment)Overall 9.5 out of 10!
