Okay I am a local to VB and I still have fun here. The beach is nice. All summer there are preformers on every street of the beach. Its a great place to live and visit. The best part..........Its not just a beach... great food, amusment parks, water parks, aquarium, and much much more. A great place for the whole family!!

Virginia beach was nice, but the atmosphere was annoying. The Goldkey salespeople are everywhere (restaurants, boardwalk, pier, beach street, hotels).... it was worse than a used car lot! We were approached several times daily by salespeople to buy timeshares. The only restaurants recommended where affiliates of their company. Oddly enough, we own a timeshare... but they were relentless. This may deter us from returning.

I was so worried about having enough money to do the things that I wanted to, but there is so much to do that you have a lot to choose from. We didn't do any thing over 15$, except horse back riding which was 60$ for 2 hrs. . The mirror maze 6, the fun house 6, the haunted mansion 7, the oygen bar (which is really cool) is 10-20$ depending on ...

What hotel was that one??? We need to know more because We certainly don't want our children in a dirty place!!

The manager changes rules on a daily basis. This hotel is full of drug people. I witnessed this for myself. I will never stay here again. The manager is nuts and the service is below par.

We stayed 2 nights and the counter attendent was very nice. Place was very clean. The room had a great view, plenty of space, microwave & mini fridge were in room. Vanity area was spacious, bathroom was clean. Bedroom was nice and clean. Balcony area was good. All in all I enjoyed staying here and would go back again. Although not very much room service available but the complimentary breakfast was great!!

Liked the night life on the beach. the water was dirty. Hotels were rather costly and unavailable.

Love this place.... as a visitor from Nashville... It is a wonderful safe place to bike and visit... as a regular visitor please search out areas off the strip to enjoy your meals to save lots of money... b/c this can extremely affect your budget if you are on one... we are there for a week around the 4th of July annual... so we always venture ...

Beach was first rate, good eats and drinks. Go visit First Landing State Park and the Back Back National Refuge. The Aquarium is adding stuff and has a lot of construction, I would wait till 2009 to visit, I was disappointed but the nature trail was nice. Prepare to have car inspected and searched if you are visiting the Ft. Story Cape Henry ...
