Hotel was averageI stayed there with my husband and two teenage children. When we arrived we could not go to our room because of a fire drill. The room had a large bed with a pull out couch. We were not comfortable sleeping on a couch. The blanket on the pullout couch had a hole in it. The hotel .airport was not on time or never showed up. We had to take the ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Good Place to stay for DC tripsThis town isn't really what you need to come for. It's safer and a bit cleaner than DC, though more expensive. It's also got the Metro that will take you to the DC sites. If you're doing a trip to DC this would be a good place to stay. It is not the highlight of the vacation.0 of 3 Yahoo! Great WeekendThe old town area was excellent- waterside parks, great book store, and lively pubs. Prices everywhere were very reasonable; all hospitality and sales personnel were very friendly. You better come and visit here! It ROX!I live in Alexandria and it is soooo awesome. I fyou are coming to visit, you should definitely visit Olde Towne and Mt. Vernon, Best historical places EVER! Best of the bestI lived in Fairfax for a couple of years while working in Bethesda. I love the DC area’s night life, history and the diversify of cultures. I cannot think of a better place where I would rather end up. this was a great hoteli would recommend this to everyone. The people who said this place were thinking something wromg. The suites were real big and u get alot of things.

Love to visit Alexandria, Va.I loved the historic sites and good restaurants and shopping. Great HistoryI had an extremely great experience at Mt. Vernon. To see the place where are first President planned battles, slept, ate and lived his every day life was a beautiful experience. Mt. Vernon was a very beautiful place and if you love history there is plenty of it.
