san antonio, texas, under the bridge at the intersection of commerce and medina, there is a large community of homeless men, women, teenagers and children...it is running 101-110 degrees there every day...the city of san antonio, in an attempt to 'clean up' the area...has removed all public water fountains, a nearby sam's shelter ...

Viva` La San Antonio!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/09
San Antonio is an awesome place to live or visit. The alamo is rich in Texas history, the zoo is one of the best around, then there's Sea World, Tower of the Americas, the river walk...the list is endless. The food is authentic texmex, and the people are very friendly. Highly recommend San Antonio as a tourist stop.

City Pass San Antonio
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/18/09
We loved the Riverwalk, the Alamo and the sights. We purchased the Museum Pass $39/ adult and $29/ child. First, the Alamo is free, which they have included on the list. An amazing stop and a must see. The Buckhorn and the Texas Rangers Museum are one and the same. Quite interesting. If you hit all 8 museums the cost would be $53/ adult and $30/ child. Challenging to hit them all in a weekend. Make your choice appropriately.
Less than 5 MILES from downtown. No heavy traffic to deal with . within minutes from local restaurants.Clean rooms , Security cameras all around bldg lighted parking lots . large rooms , many tv channels Staff was very helpful and Friendly. would stay again
Spent 5 days at this hotel...was fantastic ! Great Servcie, clean, perfect location, walking distance to the River Walk. Our stay was so comfortable ! Will go back ! Will stay at this property again !
My neice and her family, two young children, were planning a trip to Hawaii and I suggested they come to San Antonio instead. They have a modest budget and she found a whole list of free things to do at visitsantonio.com and they are having a blast. The San Antonio River Walk is a wonderful place -- they walked for miles along winding paths and ...

If I had to move to Texas, I'd move here or Austin
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/08
I'm not a huge fan of the state of Texas. I find both Dallas and Houston awful and bland. However, I do dig the Hill Country and the two cities that occupy it: Austin and San Antonio. While Austin is known for it's liberal culture, college football and live music, San Antonio is known for it's Mexican heritage, it's German culture, ...
we were at this motel for 3 days Oct 9-12. We were rushed rushed rushed and I did not notice the commode very much, because I do not sit on the seat and like I said we were rushed to get to the base the whole time that we were there. Our 2nd night there I got out of the shower and I noticed the commode had feces around the back of the seat and it ...
