Dallas is the most boring and not a diverse place. theres nothing to do but eat, shop,drive. when thats over theres nothing. its hot with no beach no nice tourist attactions. just a big overated place.

Not a bad place. Some parts are nice some not. Some people are nice some aren't. Six Flags in Arlington isn't far from downtown and its very fun. I would recommend Austin or San Antonio over Dallas.

OMG, there are so many other better cities in the US than this one. It has no history; it is full of suburban sprawl, hot, dry, self pretentious people. Nothing but strip malls and tree less streets. Yuck. Highly overrated, as is much of Texas.

I moved from Chicago almost one year ago and I'm moving in May. Nothing about Dallas, or Texas for that matter, is charming, fun, interesting. It's actually suffocating, oppressive and miserable. People are pretentious with no intelligence to back it. It's truly the McDonald's of the United States.

No, Dallas doesn't have any mountains, exceptional lakes and rivers... this is not a wilderness retreat. Anyone get upset and bash Phoenix because it's all desert?? How about not getting to go fishing in the East River in NYC?? Come on people, Dallas can't help ...
