i never knew so many people talk bad about a city only by a visit, and think they know it all.dallas is a big city like any other city just doesn't have the natual beauty like others. just because you from nyc,chicago,or san francisco.doesn't mean you can judge a city just off negativity and whats up with people thinking texas is full of redneck hicks

Dallas is just one big strip mall full of stores full of crap from china. I'm stuck here for a biz trip and I'm dreading it. Especially since I was in portland or last week and it is just an amazing city. I think they ought to bulldoze the whole of dallas and plant some trees in it's place. If you have to go to texas San Antonio is a much nicer place and has some character. Dallas SUCKS!

Dallas is truly the most pathetic excuse for a city ever. It landscape consists of strip malls with blips of random cow fields LITERALLY. Sprawl is king here. Lackluster landscape, mediocre food, bad shopping, horrid weather--its either icing or over 100, backwards attitudes where the common misconception that its great here(perhaps the entire state has Stockholm syndrome?)...need I go on?
