I rented the 2 bedroom villa in the villas II section. End unit in site of the ocean. Unit was very clean and lots of room for our party of 7. The rates were very reasonable and the staff was very knowlegeable and friendly. July 6-9 2009. We also recieved a gift, and water park bands to get in free. Lots of on site shops, and restaurants to go visit also.

Drove 9 hours to get to Myrtle Beach. Not really worth the drive. Hotel had very limited parking, had to run across busy 4 lane road to get to it. Myrtle Beach is a great place for familes and couples. I stayed at Hotel Blue, and I strongly reccomend this hotel.

This is a great Italian restaurant! The atmosphere is family-oriented, service is excellent (very friendly staff), food is very good, and affordable. The restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel. It was about a 20 minute drive from Myrtle Beach to Garden City, but well worth it. The restaurant owner is Sicilian and a great cook! No crowds and perfect after a long day on the beach.

This is the first year bike week was not allowed in the city. The whole town was dead, there was no business anywhere. The police down here are everywhere and I never saw so many people pulled over in my life! They were also blocking several main roads for no apparent reason making travel very difficult.
