The condo was decorated nicely and it was clean except for the rug beneath the coffee table. It was clear it had not been vacuumed.
Very noisy here. Next to the road and the tennis courts. The leaf blowers would be cleaning off the courts as early as 6:30 a.m. The courts were in another resort so the management could do nothing. I checked with the ...

Fun family restaurant
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/16/09
The Old Oyster Factory has been a family favorite for the past 15 years. It has one of the best views on the entire island. The food is always fresh and delicious. The kids (and grandkids now) always look forward to our return visit. Its comfortable for the adults to hang out at the bar or the kids to play outside....we will be back.

Quality Inn Hilton Head Breakfast
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/09
December we needed a place to stay for a night when we came to Hilton Head, SC, before we went to out Time Share. We selected the Quality Inn because we had been there before. Although the Inn leaves much to be desired, the price was cheap and they had a good buffet breakfast to start our day. When I went down for breakfast in the morning the front ...

best restaurant on the island was tapas restaurant
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/08
We loved this unique dining experience. Definately the best she crab soup that we've ever had. Very cute locals kind of a place...no overpriced tourist food here. In the same plaza with Cinema 10 movies, so very convenient to eat at before seeing a film. Huge menu...everyone in our party loved their choices. Shrimp and Scallops Ardis were out of this world.

Vagabond cruises
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/27/07
As a present to my parents, I thought it would be nice to treat them to a dinner cruise with Vagabond Cruises while on vacation. We reserved the cruise at least two weeks in advance. The afternoon before, Vagabond called and cancelled the cruise and offered a cruise after July 4th. As we are not from this area, we will not be taking the cruise. ...

Best vacation spot on Earth!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/07
Been going here every spring break for 6 years now. Relaxing, fun, gorgeous!! Wonderful for families. Its a condo kind of place. Eat in or out, shop, go to the beach. Definitely go on a dolphin cruise, Commander Zodiac is the best! Don't miss Harbour Town, especially Gregg Russell under the Liberty Oak and the Lighthouse. You have to see The Salty Dog at South Beach! Coligny Plaza has some great, quaint little shops (and great ice cream)!!!
Great experience during Rita! Never drove to (ATL)Atlanta before but when rita hit the gulf coast had to wing it a 3:00 in the morning! With the prayers of many friends and family member and lots of coffee, I made it just find and had a BALL! It very Hot in Texas now and we are preparing for another Hurricane season! Try to wear sunscream if you're anywhere near the south I truely value my family and friends

A relaxing getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/06
We stayed in the Shipyard Plantation overlooking a 5 acre pond. Enjoyed watching alligator, herons, and turtles every day. Hardly any people around in early October.
Great places to eat with good sunset views--Old Oyster Factory and the Old Fort Pub (best meal--Sea Bass wrapped in Applewood Bacon and Chocolate pecan pie). Also ordered ...

Great!!!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/06
I went to Hilton Head last summer and I abosolutly loved it. It is a beautiful beach and the reastraunts are wonderful. I suggest the Crazy Crab and the famous Salty Dog Cafe. There is something for everybody at Hilton Head! The signs are small so they can keep the natral beauty of the place. It was the best vacation I had all summer!
