I disliked how dirty everything was. I have
never been somewhere so dirty. They need to clean it up. i think the food was okay but it was just too dirty. No one wants to go on a vaction and have to look at plain out nasty things.

While I enjoyed our vacation there, it was very hard to find my way around the island. Things weren't clearly marked and the roads were confusing. I did, however, enjoy going on a dolphin cruise.

We love the clean, refined atmosphere; we go on vacation to relax, not to party. Hilton Head Island is a higher-class resort area; there are no obnoxious shopping/eating/bar areas and there are no drunk, loudmouths (like at Myrtle). The restaurants are excellent and the beaches are beautiful. We bought two weeks of timeshare at Marriott's Barony Beach Club - we look forward to vacation every year!

Hilton Head Island is a unique and pleasant experience. The atmosphere is outstanding, and the total vacation experience is wonderful.
