Oklahoma City isn't a tourist destination or a very vibrant city, but you could do worse. Bricktown is okay and they now have a basketball team thanks to their owner stealing the Supersonics. Conservative, bible belt place. Not a bad 1-2 day stop.
Through all of the cities I have visited in America, Oklahoma City has got to be one of the best cities I have ever visited! The people were amazing, particularly the waiters at the wonderful restaurants, the city was well laid out and clean and most importantly it was safe. As my friend and I walked around the city and made my way over to ...

OKC is just OK
By hslape, 06/06/08
Like the state the city is just OK. Not much to see. No beaches or anything. Not a beautiful city or an active one. Things to do are maybe go to Frontier City or White Water Bay. There are a lot of Native American and cowboy museums.

Great trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/23/08
We went to the oklahoma city zoo which was really great. You must see the fin and feather show if you go it was the best part. Kids really enjoyed it but take the tram first that way you can save yourself some walking. It is a lot of walking. We ate at the Santa Fe cattle company which is the best restaurant. The service, the atmosphere and ...
I really don't have any complaints about Oklahoma City. I enjoyed my visit there. I enjoyed the Bricktown area, the National Memorial and the University of Oklahoma. The City and the people are very nice.

BORING
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/07
Nuff said, it doesn't come close to being a city. People here are nice though, but lame and have no sense of culture. It feels as if you are just so far away from the places that has it going good. For ex. Nightlife, diversity, Art, that kind of stuff. Maybe its cause i was born and rasied in NY. I don't know if its just me, but Nightlife ...

I came here in the Earlie part of 2003 Feb with a sweet dear friend , he showed me around was my first time back home after 28yrs away.
I was so heart broken when i saw this memorial, the quiet' the heart felt sorrow and the pain and grief of messages left for loved ones was over whelming.
