While living in Durham I always complained about the lack of entertainment and positive people. I moved away and realized Durham had it all. Durham has more cultural events than alot of southern cities have to offer. The entertainment holds its own although not on the calliber of Atlanta or some of the Florida cities on a daily basis. Should spend more money to build city, make it more convenient and beautiful. Road and street should smooth.
Apt. should be cheaper,

We came in town for a basketball game!!--And we found the motel was a great deal. Located off the interstate, and close to area university--Restaurants and pubs with in 1-2mi.---Staff very friendly---and prompt--- not overpriced at all---

Dislike gang activities.
Like the proximity of businesses to residential areas. Convenient living. Homes cost less than Chapel Hill, NC although Chapel Hill has MUCH better school district. Durham is more ethnic. Lots of Jobs for everyone. Several churches and There is DUKE- great research facility! Lots of good things about Durham County.
