Vegas is great. Didn't like the folk lined up on streets passing out "soft porn show" passes. There is plenty to do and see that won't break the bank. Wear flat shoes and eat a hearty breakfast. I suggest getting a bus or rail pass on the first day!! Must check out a Cirque show....impressive!!

My husband and I go to Vegas once a year for a romantic getaway. It's a place where I can dress inappropriately for my age and nobody even notices or cares (my husband enjoys that a lot). We spend all day at the pool and every night we go to a show, a great restaurant, a comedy club, whatever. We have hectic lives, and my husband and I both kind of 'live' for that annual trip.

There really doesn't seem to be much to do that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I have to return for business and hope to have time to do something other than gamble. I would like to take my family, but casinos are not what I had in mind.

It is every sterotype that you have ever seen portrayed in movies: Flashy, fake, and cheesy. I you are looking for a romantic get away, look elsewhere.

Vegas is a great place to go one a "guys" or "girls" trip. Great night life, gaming, and a ton to do, but if Vegas is the best you can do for a romantic getaway...you are either still single, or will be shortly! For a really romantic time, rent a houseboat on Lake Powell in May or early June.
