We have been here for almost 15 years. It is a wonderful place. No sales tax; although car registration is silly-especially Gallatin county. There are many nice restaurants; the folks are doing their very best to keep the down-town area like it was at the turn of the 20th century, and they are doing a good job of that. We are near sking; shopping ...
I moved to Bozeman from Falmouth, Maine 5 years ago to go to school and I'm pretty sure I am never leaving. It is full of character and the proximity to outdoor recreation is unparalleled. It took some time to grow on me but now I couldn't dream of living any place else.

I can't wait to leave!

I have lived here for over two years and I cannot wait to move! I agree the roads cannot handle the traffic. You have to deal with larger city congestion without any of the larger city convenience. People in Bozeman are very California. There is nothing to do during the winters, which lasts for 10 months! There are not any kid centers, pizza ...

bozeman is an absolutely beautiful town, nestled in the mountains in the great state of montana. The town has grown rapidly and has lost its true character. People think that the locals are so friendly but spend some time at some bars or the local ski hill and you get the snobby feel and bad karma these transplants from vermont bring to the place. ...

Bozeman is the BOMB
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/06
Going to Bozeman is the best. Find something good to eat at Wheat Montana, McKenzie River Pizza, the Pickel Barrel, Bob's Burgers...you name it. Support the locals! Beautiful little shops on main street or shop at the MSU bookstore. Drive out to Big Sky to ski or just take in the atmosphere either way you won't forget it and you'll want to come back!! :)

Can't wait to leave for New York!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/15/06
Bozeman Montana is pretty far from civilization if you are used to the city. There is NOTHING for those underage and not interested in the great outdoors. Living costs are unbelievable unless you happen to get really lucky. For visiting, it would be okay if you liked skiing and whatnot. You won't like it in the long term, this i promise you.
I like how all the bad reviews for bozeman are from people who were here than less than a week or not even one day. You really can't get a good feel for the town in that amount of time.
I lived in Bozeman for 2 years and I've lived in Montana for 10. Go ahead and see the REAL montana, which is a bunch of trailer meth heads or farmers. ...
If you live in the big cities, Bozeman is THE place to live. Crime's way down, no sales tax, quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. I highly recommend this great city of Bozeman.
I love Bozeman Montana.I rent a 2 bedroom apartment for 600 a month which I think is really good.Outside I can see the Bridger mountians.I like the dry air and weather is great. One thing I can't wait on is transporation. We will have a bus service running this summer for the first time.Crime is down. You dont hear about shooting all the time.I give this city a A+.We have a wonderful hockey team called Bozeman Icedogs!!Go Icedogs!!!!

This place it totally cool. Came up here for a job meeting and in my spare time it was a great place to visit parks, and good old' food. Very pleasant and relaxing parks and town.
