St. Louis clearly does not like mixed-race couples or familes. It is stuck in the 1950, intellecutally and culturally.

Downtown St. Louis is neat because of the arch. The rest of the town is pretty much just factories and it's really polluted. Seems so-so on the saftey side. Wouldn't go with kids. Worth a drive through the city, but not worth a vacation.

I have lived in St. Louis all my life (still living here) and think overall it's great. Research before you visit. Very fun and lots to do.
