I was quite impressed with the caliber of this festival, and the thriving arts community I discovered in this little Southern city. If you’re passing through Jackson in late March, check out this festival.

This is the place where i was born and raised... I love Jackson, I love the black history that this city have... Everyone should visit Jackson, at least once in their lives...

I love Jackson, MS... not saying that just because I'm from Mississippi (IBM..BABY!!) Jackson is a town for black's can go and hang out... and if you ever been to a Alcorn State vs Jackson State game, trust me you would love it...

The Jackson Hilton is THE BEST place to stay in Jackson, MS. Central to most of the restaurants and area shopping, rooms and service at the Jackson Hilton is in a word, superb. My suite was a two room, two bathroom, apartment sized affair with a great view and Queen Anne style furniture. Very nice. Check out the bar and live entertainment for Happy Hour.

the management / employees there were wonderful even with hurricane Katrina and the loss of power to the hotel. Thanks so much. Your attention to the patrons was superb and will not be forgotten.
