I used to live in Minneapolis and now live in Boston. Minneapolis' quality of life and cost of living is great. I try to get back to enjoy the thriving arts culture, friendly people that care about their environment they live in, and the large park system throughout downtown. Absolutely beautiful! Our trip was mainly to see family. My husband and I stayed two nights in Duluth right on Lake Superior. We went to some falls, watched the ships come in, went to Glensheen Mansion (which was Awesome). The last night we stayed at Comfort Suites directly across from Mall of America. Good to be home but Minnesota was really pretty state to visit.

I loved the Uptown Minneapolis area. It's an established area and has great shops and restaurants.

It is easy to find the Mall of America. The Mall is intimidating but I had a good shopping experience.

I avoided rush hour so driving wasn't too bad.

The MOA has everything in one roof.
I enjoyed riding the METRO especially the fare is very cheap.
It was hard to get around town if you do not have a car.
