Small which made it walkable. We walked everywhere! When we were tired we hopped on the T. People were helpful and loved the pubs and cafes to eat and drink and the shopping. Only downside was lack of public toilets but some locals told us to go into any hotel liked we owned the place and use theirs. No one gave us a second look. Loved the proximity to the ocean, the history and it was picturesque. Would love to go back again.
