Baltimore is the most violent city this side of detroit. There are parts of the craphole the police won't go to. There are parts you can enjoy, BUT you wander outside the tourist zone and your ass is toast.

Decent ticket prices for sports games, nice downtown, good local food, museums and an aquarium. What more do you want from a city in the North East.

I have spent over 2 months this year in Baltimore this year. It is very historical with United States history. You need to watch out for yourselves due to the high crime activity (stay around the Inner Harbor-it is safe down here)

I found Baltimore to be charming and full of history. The restaurant scene is fantastic for a city of it's size. New development and re-development gave me the impression that the city is on the move. I don't see the comparison to Detroit that the last review stated at all. Very few safe spots - reminds me of St. Louis or Detroit with better roads. Some of the nastiest people you will ever encounter. Head south to Virgina for a safer, more enjoyable experience.

We took a trip up to Maryland last month it was cool, we saw a lot of cool sites, I'll be bad for sure.We found a lot of great places to eat on the water front. The only problem with that is the parking, good luck with that.

I like to say that the only difference in the people of Baltimore and the people of Savannah, GA is that the people in Savannah are crazy and know it, love it, and embrace it. The people in Baltimore are equally crazy but they don't know it.
