I have spent over 2 months this year in Baltimore this year. It is very historical with United States history. You need to watch out for yourselves due to the high crime activity (stay around the Inner Harbor-it is safe down here)

Old and Interesting City
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/16/08
I found Baltimore to be charming and full of history. The restaurant scene is fantastic for a city of it's size. New development and re-development gave me the impression that the city is on the move. I don't see the comparison to Detroit that the last review stated at all. Perhaps they didn't really visit lately? Inner harbor East ...

Really Awful - Along With St. Louis/Detroit, the Trifecta of Ghetto
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/08
Very few safe spots - reminds me of St. Louis or Detroit with better roads. Some of the nastiest people you will ever encounter. Head south to Virgina for a safer, more enjoyable experience.

Waht a MARRY Land
By Withrow, 11/07/07
We took a trip up to Maryland last month it was cool, we saw a lot of cool sites, I'll be bad for sure.We found a lot of great places to eat on the water front. The only problem with that is the parking, good luck with that.

The people
By GInger E, 11/02/07
I like to say that the only difference in the people of Baltimore and the people of Savannah, GA is that the people in Savannah are crazy and know it, love it, and embrace it. The people in Baltimore are equally crazy but they don't know it.

A City of Extremes
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/07
Baltimore is on one hand very progressive but also can be unfriendly, backward and very ghetto. The culture & history are amazing but this a EXPENSIVE & dirty place to live. Streets and byways are strewn with trash; crime is rampant. I have lived here about a year, and am NOT doing another year. Moving back to either KC, Chicago or Birmingham.

About Baltimore
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/07
Baltimore is filled with so many things to see, do and experience. From world class attractions and hotels to local galleries and museums; from historic and educational tours to sporting events and great food, it's often difficult to navigate through all the information and create a cohesive plan for your meeting or group.
There is a lot to do and see in Baltimore but the public transportation is not convenient for getting to much of it. Many of the attractions are close to the inner harbor and can be reached on foot if you have time. But others are difficult to reach.

Great old architecture
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/30/07
If you like American history and architecture this town is worth a visit. It (It also has lots of family activities and many museums) Baltimore is a truly authentic place away from harborplace. It is an amalgamation of north and south straddling the difference of an industrial port city influenced strongly by immigration with southern genteel ...

Great City!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/17/07
Great city south of the mason dixon line! Nicer than Richmond, Charlotte and DC! See the Ravens! Visit the waterfront and eat crabs! Very southern charm.
