Louisville is one of the most charming cities I've ever visited....and I've visited almost every major city in the United States. It has a wonderful charm to it with wonderful architecture, lots of history, excellent restaurants, and world class parks. It has experienced a revitalization in downtown that is breathtaking....and it keeps ...
Oh Louisville... you have so much potential, but are populated by so many douchebags. There ARE good, possibly AWESOME places in this city, but expect 80% of them to suck in a really, really profound way.

What a shock!

I can not believe that this is a hotel that is four star rated. The only thing that was nice about this hotel is when I got to check out of it. The first night I stayed there, my sheets had stains on them, the curtains were full of holes and the bathroom was a joke. I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. If there is an Econo Lodge nearby, you would be better off in it.
I went there for christmas holiday this past year to visit a friend. After living in the choas of a VERY large upscale city I found Louisville enchanting!

Louisville is a great town. I am amazed by some of the negative comments from a few people. Evasive Action Needed for the city

Louisville is one of a handful of "sick" cities in our nation. It is one of a very few that is currently experiencing a loss of population (see, Detroit, New Orleans).
I lived in Louisville for nearly eight years, my work keeping me tightly bound to the city, the culture and the community. That said, I would not advise LIVING in ...
I stayed at the executive west inn. The room was big with a balcony. I had to move to a suite because I have family coming to visit the last two days and they not only provided me with the new room, but gave it to me at the rate I was paying with my group. The staff was very pleasant (had room surface and they actually called me to mke sure ...
On my fourth visit to Louisville, my friends and I had a great time watching a concert at The Garden. However, when happening upon Raw(restaurant/bar), we realized not all places are tourist friendly. Definately a place that locals rule, and visitors are not treated warmly. But don't hold it against the city because its great, just remember to get your food fully cooked and avoid anything RAW!!!
