The many beautiful horse farms that surround Lexington are like something out of a dream. There are countless white-columned antebellum southern mansions surrounded by acres of blue grass with grazing horses. Miles of wood or stone fences beautify the landscape. There are a lot of historical places to visit in the city or nearby. Be sure to visit shakertown then take 68 to get back to Lexington.

Lexington is a nice city, but it focuses on horses. In the meantime, they are tearing up their horse farms to build townhomes. Sad.
I would go back if I had to, but would not make a vacation out of it.

We come to see our family a lot and stay with them. It is a friendly place but from Cincinnati it is long and your like driving in the middle of no-where. its great tho.

Lexington is a nice place to visit, but not a great place to live unless you are a religious conservative and a huge college sports fan. The people all talk about either UK sports or their churches and the activities surrounding those.

The downtown is walkable, but doesn't actually have more than a few blocks worth of stores. Chevy chase ...

We enjoyed Lexington, we stayed at the convention center in the Hyatt. We really enjoyed the hotel breakfast and the bar was even more fun. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Enjoy Lexington, hopefully I will be able to spend some time there other than business.

I lived in Lexington for 4 years and often wish I was still there.
Lexington has everything a person could need or want from beautiful scenery to fine dining and entertainment. There are so many nice restaurants such as Sal's on Tates Creek Rd.

If ever was a place I'd like to live it would be Kentucky. I loved how the people are so friendly and will to give a helping hand. It's very beautiful in the fall during the chaging of the tree's.

if your a hardcore partier than you will definatley enjoy lexington. there are also a nice selection of resturants throughout lexington, also lexington is home to the ledendary university of kentucky.
