Stayed in downtown Chicago for a conference. Immediately upon arriving i sensed a great history to the city and was very impressed by the architecture and surroundings. I'm from Los Angeles, so its probably not surprising for me to say that.

Anyway, stayed at the Hyatt Regency (good location/attractive rooms).

One place to not miss:
1) Art Institute of Chicago

Chicago is loaded with culture, nightlife, history, awesome neighborhoods and so much to do. Sure there is a lot of traffic, sure there are some rude people, and sure the weather isn't the greatest, but these are small things in the big picture. I love it here!

I disliked NOTHING.Chicago is really a one of kind wonderful city. Its so clean and friendly. There are so many things to do that you really have to live there to do everything. Long Live the Greatest city on this planet

I went to chicago for 4 days to see a Cubs and White Sox game. I loved it, in 4 days, i seemed to fit in so much and everything is so close and its a much nicer atmosphere than NYC.

Chicago is a whole new city. If you haven't been here in the past 10 years, you'll barely recognize some parts of it, especially near downtown, but really in more than just downtown.
