Thinking about Waikiki? Its a nice place to go. Swimming, fishing, bodyboarding, snorkeling, spearfishing, drinking and partying. 24 hour gym ($$$ for short term). You don't need a car here to have a good time. Bus is only 2 bucks a ride and gets you most places. Here are my recommendations:

Everything was heaven. All the people we met were very friendly, from locals to tourists. Our hotel (Outrigger on the Beach) was just amazing and fun. The entire location is heaven.
