Landing at the Miami airport went quite smoothly, but after renting our vehicles, we drove around for a while and then stopped over at the Dolphin Mall on the far west side. The mall was very cool; a neat food court, some nice shops, one area that had some really cool boats for sale. I would never go back. I stayed in the Fairwind Hotel in South Beach-- the room was nice but the city is pretty scary.
