I've been there for the millenium party and for off-season relaxing and both were awesome.
If you're a partier hit it during spring break or any other big gathering they have.

Key West is a great place if you like to drink and fish,regarding a beach just go to Miami if you want to enjoy the sites "You know what I mean". Everytime I was there I had a great time, lets not forget the fishing. But KeyWest is not known for its beaches.

This place is the best for just kickin' back and relaxing (and for lots of cocktails!)
Make sure you visit Capt Tony and leave your buisness card...avoid the bathrooms at all costs!!

Key West doesn't have a beach, for cryin' out loud! It's a fun place to visit but no one can truely say it's a "beach"!

As others have stated- don't look for a beach in Key West... or in any of the keys, for that matter. There are no natural beaches there and the man-made ones aren't good for much aside from sunbathing. I love the atmosphere, the expirence was a the best time I had by far!! Great times and memories of Fantasy Fest 2002!!! Duval street is the safest, party place for any body that knows how to party responisble!
