Everything we read about this was true. It's in the best location and close to the beach. It's clean and cheerful and the staff is wonderful. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and go beyond what's expected. We want to go back soon and we won't look further than the Alhambra. Treat yourself to the best deal in Ft. Lauderdale Beach!
http://www.oharasjazzcafe.com/ This place on Old Las Olas boulevard is absolutely the pinacle of night life in Ft. Lauderdale. The city would be lost with out it. Come out for some amazing night life.
We spent a week in Ft Lauderdale and it was very dissapointing. From the time we stepped off of the plane until we got back on we encounted nothing but rude people at the airport, hotel, restaurants and shops. The city is too large to enjoy "beach time fun" it takes away from being a coastal community. The locals do not like the ...

We stayed at the SeaCove hotel which was pretty cool, we actually upgraded to a suite. th strip we were on was very clean, the weather was really good other than the day we got ...

Although the Latin culture and night life of Miami is intriguing, it is a place that I would drive to one or two days on a south Florida vacation, not stay. Fort Lauderdale is actually more diverse in its culture and is much ...
I liked that the pool was clean, the food was excellent, sitting on the deck with a drink looking out over the board walk and ocean, staff was friendly and helpful, convient to Miami and more. We rented a car with a GPS system and it made this trip so excellent we went every where we wanted and did not worry about how to get there or back. It was a ...

Marriott Hollywood
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/26/07
The Marriott was over priced and the area near the marriott was run down. Plus they wanted $10.00 a day for self parking. There is only one restaurant and that was very expensive ant same for the bar.
You really need a car to get around. Lauderdale is changing with the addition of many multi million dollar condos. Close to Miami, plenty of things to do.
