I have been going to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware since I was a mere toddler. I have pictures of me as a wee one being pushed in a stroller on the boardwalk in front of Dolle's Saltwater Taffy shop, and of my pushing a toy car on the floor of our rental unit.
As a an older child, I went too with family and always had a blast.
Now as an ...

My partner and I have traveled to Rehoboth Beach one or two times a season for the last decade. We have always enjoyed it and will return this year(2006).We particularly like to go in the "shoulder" season-early June & early September as it is quiet, relaxing, more private and a bargain for accomodations;yet the weather is still ...

Rehoboth Beach

Yes your eyes see correctly we are talking about Delaware. First let’s tout some of the states pluses. Of course the Dupont’s have made the state so rich you do not have to pay any sales tax. The Route 1 corridor redevelopment became a festering ground for retail outlet stores for all the big designer labels and retail chains. You’re just on the ...

I love Rehoboth Beach!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/05
My family has been going to Rehoboth Beach for longer than I've been around. The beaches are clean and safe, the people are friendly, and the crowds aren't near what they are at other beaches. The recent changes and updates from the main street program are great. If you go you must stay downtown, park the car when you get there and walk ...

We enjoyed vacationing here more than any other place! The beach, the boardwalk, the food, everything was perfect. We would highly recommend Rehoboth Beach to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy themselves. We're going back as soon as we possibly can!

Only the best place EVER!
By James N, 10/01/05
Imagine a small beach town with the sophistication of DC, NYC and Philadelphia sprinkled throughout. Not over-commercial on the boardwalk, a family friendly - and gay friendly - beach with peace & quiet, wonderful restaurants & tax-free shopping!

Whether you are looking for long days on the beach, bike rides on nature trails, amusement parks filled with water slides, bumper cars, and kiddie rides, interesting boutique shopping, outlet madness, boardwalk fries, or gourment dining, Rehoboth Beach and the Cape Henelopen area is the place to be. If that isn't enough you can always take a ...

My children totally enjoyed the beach. Can't wait to go back next year. They most enjoyed the boardwalk. We enjoyed the games and rides and the food. Taffy is a favorite of ours.

a little bit of everything
By FunkiChik2k6, 09/26/05
Rehoboth Beach has a small town feel with big town amenities. This beach town is fun for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. You can shop unique shops or the outlets; go to the bustling beach off the boardwalk or to the quiet state park beaches; golf or mini golf; surf fish or deep sea fish; stay in an old beach cottage or at a luxury hotel. Love it!

Peace of Mind

Rehoboth Beach, an oasis amidst trendier hot spots on the Eastern seaabord, lends itself to a small-town atmosphere that allows travelers to let their guards down and enjoy themselves while on vacation. The boardwalk is tiny by nearby Ocean City MD standards, and houses primarily eateries. The "main drag" to the beach, Route 1A, also ...
