Denver is a great city with mostly good weather, and wonderful views. I see people on this site complain about how they thought it was in a valley. I loved the city. It is about the most safe downtown area I have ever visited-about the worst I have ever heard of happening here is someone breaking into a car. I love the proximity to the mountains. I don;t care what other people say about the air quality, it is by no means any worse than any city in the United States whose size is comparable. Loved Lower-Downtown district, or Lo-Do as they call it.

Denver has a great nightlife for singles with tons of bars and clubs. Tons of outdoor activity due to having the mountains less than 30 minutes away. All major Colorado ski resorts are 2 hours or less away. Can't tell you how easy it is to skip work on Friday to do a three day ski weekend.

At least you can drive 30 minutes and get to the mountains and be nowhere unlike any other city, oh and its a melting pot new york of the midwest

I came back to Denver after 15 years as I grew up here.I was highly disapointed with the city.The state moto should be come here on vacation leave here on probation.There were hundreds of panhandlers begging for money, I do not see the city helping the homeless.It will be interesting to see with the Democratic Convention what the city does.There are interesting things to see and do but I will find another city to vacation in...

i loved denver, there was much to do. i would love to move there. the streets and some of the layouts of the streets were a little confusing.

I liked Denver because there is so much to do. You can go to the many wonderful malls, Six flags (amusement park), Water world, e.c.t. The reason I didnt like Denver so much is its not very safe for the family. Especialy down town Denver.

Denver is a wonderful place to visit. The people are warm and the mountains are beautiful. This only thing I disliked was the highway signs (confusing).
