Yes, the sight was grand and the Half Moon was beautiful. But, perhaps, my expectations were too high. It was just one valley and that was it, after having driven for hours to get theres.

I had never been to yosemite..and my best friend and her Bf decided to take a drive up to the beautiful park.. So my bf and i grabbed a starbucks and headed out on our journey.. We got there and the view was spectacular. I had never seen so many beautiful sites.. We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed the hike very much.. all the more better when you spend it with someone you love.. Cant wait to go back :)

I made my first trip to Yosemite in early October - a great time to go. The weather was beautiful, the crowds weren't too heavy and the scenery is amazing. Yosemite Falls were dry, but there are plenty of other great things to see in the fall season! I'll definitely be heading back again in a few weeks!
