I grew up going to Yosemite every summer. I treasure those times. No matter what time of year or how far apart my visits, I am never disappointed in the beauty and serenity. It is worth the time and energy to get there if you don't happen to live down the street.

Turn the bend approaching the tunnel, and you've got your first glimpse of an amazing site...Yosemite Valley. In the past 15 years, I've been there at least eight times, usually to hike or camp.

It is so clean and fresh here with great falls streams rivers mountians.Have never had the chance to go in winter but hope to soon.Well worth the trip!

2004. The most beautiful thing I saw while in Yosemite, other than the redwood trees, was the waterfalls. The scenery around the lakes in Yosemite is an awesome site. However, we had to picnic in a pull-off area because there were no places available in any of the picnic areas. It is extremely crowded. It seemed to be a long drive with very little ...

Excellent hiking trails.

Only problem, get crowded by too many people and cars.

You should stay at the lower pines campground. Cheap and best view of Half Dome

I didn't really like this park. It felt more like being a disneyland. On the bus there were people speaking all sorts of crazy languages. Lots of people everywhere. It didn't feel like a national park. Too many people.

Great Hiking and vistas

Peaceful and overpowering. Awesome and incredible. the mountains, lakes and trees are breath takingly beautiful. A real zen feeling of oneness with nature and insignificance.

yosimite is gods land its the nicest place to vist the rangers are nice and the hikes are wonderful .It a nice place to visit all year round.Half Dome is a must do hike .

Excellent place stay. You rent a house for the time you are there. They have a variety of houses and sizes to pick from. You are close to the Wowona Hotel, golf and horseback riding. There are excellent trails (for hiking, swimming and Chilnuana Falls(spectaular). You can drive to the Valley or the top of Glacier Point for other hikes and sights. ...
