This city is so unassuming. This is the old west desert, not the Californiazed version up north in Phoenix. The homes are interesting, the food authentic and the views breathtaking. There is a lot of understated wealth here, but it's blended in with the rest of the population. You want fine dining? They have it. You want to nosh with the ...

beautiful sunsets and warm climate good restaurants and the best part is 1 hr south of Tucson in Nogales, Sonora....great shopping and the best in mexican food. Do not miss the excellent Restaurant La Roca on calle elias ·91. Very good margaritas and great music and atmosphere. Park your car on the US side and walk across the border bring your passport. Then shop at El Changarro it is a very beautiful store with great prices.

Good Restaurant for Business and Family
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/05/08
I have travel a lot in Mexico like Can Cun, Oaxaca, Mexico City and I wuold say that the food from LA Placita Cafe is EXCELENT and the place is even better for doing business or family reuninos. The best Mexican Restaurant along with Cafe Poca Cosa.. Buen Provecho!
Currently living in Tucson and can't wait to leave- if your thinking about moving here or even visiting, don't! I don't know how anybody can even call this place a "city". I don't see what the big attraction is. There is absolutely nothing to do here, its just hot and all the people are weird. The whole scenery of this ...

Tucson is where my heart is!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/31/07
I have been visiting Tucson twice a year over the last 3 years. I am a Minnesotan and can't wait until we can leave this snow and cold behind!
Tucson has many wonderful places to shop. Maya Palace has unique and eclectic clothing along with friendly service. For those who like Thrift Shops, we found that the East Side had many to choose ...
I have live in Tucson for 3 years and a half, then move to North Carolina, and I can tell the difference! People in Tucson are much more open minded, peaceful, friendlier, happier, and authentic. Costumer service is great. There is a respectfull atmosphere everywhere. Although the weather is very hot in summer the rest of the year is great. However, the dry heat won't make you sweaty. Tucson is just a great place to live!
I have been here two years in a row, both during October and I love it! I love the warmth, the atmosphere, everything! I've stayed at the Tucson Sheraton both times and it's a wonderful hotel. I highly recommend this as a vacation spot! The lightning storms at night are spectacular and the beautiful sunshine days are great. And there is ...

One of the nicest medium sized cities in America
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/07
I have visited Tucson about 6 times over the last three years, in every season except the peak of summer. The weather is almost always wonderful, with blue skies and generally light breezes. What a terrific place to vacation, with nice resorts like the El Con and the Omni, and an absolute treasure trove of things to see and do. Dont miss ...

Forget Phoenix, make your way to Tucson instead...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/27/06
Phoenix may be the largest city in Arizona and the state capital, but there are more interesting attractions in its "neighboring" city 90 miles south - Tucson. Geographically similar to Phoenix, this desert plain is surrounded by scenic mountains and grove of saguaro. During my short day-trip there from Phoenix, I enjoyed admiring the ...
