Amazing view, a true nature's wonder. However, the drive from Vegas is too long. So stay there. go to both rims. I hear the skywalk is a rip-off as you cant take your camera and it costs $30 and you see nothing. Now for the film: Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets(1984) IMAX
I saw this film at the Grand Canyon, in some plaza where we ...
My wife and i and some friends from kansas city stayed in south rim trailer village in our motor homes for two days. we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this inviting country atmosphere. One morning while walking our dogs we saw a big buck in our camp grounds. The management was great in helping us get two sites next to each other, Our spaces were ...
The Canyon was beautiful, but to get there was a horrible experience. On the official website, it doesn’t say anything clearly about what to expect about the road condition and other fees; everything was double worded. Everyone there was complaining about how they felt like being cheated. We drove to the west rim of the Grand Canyon ...
The Grand Canyon is spectacular! I have already seen pictures before I actually went there and I was pretty impressed already by just looking at the colorful photos. But when I got there, the scenery simply took my breath away... I am from the Philippines and when we were planning on going to the States, I made sure the Grand Canyon was one of the ...
First of all, the Grand Canyon West is a beautiful place to visit, but you need to know a few things before you go. My husband and I went there in May 2008, and were surprised by a few things once we got there. You drive down a dusty unpaved rode for approximately 14 miles, and you are not driving directly to the Grand Canyon West, you will park ...
On our trip to Las Vegas, me and my wife were contemplating about visiting this famous wonder. We were kind of confused as we just had a single day to cover this place and we had 2 options. The west rim which is the home to the famous 'SkyWalk' and the grand canyon national park in AZ where the 'Real' grand canyon is.
I lived and work at the Grand Canyon, This is what I learned from working there and experiencing it first hand. First off if you plan to stay the night or a few nights there avoid all hotels that are outside the parks gates. These hotels will say Grand Canyon hotel and actually they are located in a small town just outside the park entrance. The ...
My second visit to the South Rim. Just awesome. Worth the trip from anywhere in the world. If you have young kids like us , its going to make you nervous - it is so massive and the drops so huge you cant take it in. If you like safety in numbers head to Grand Canyon Village and if not take the road to Desert View and stop at all the viewpoints ...
I saw pictures of the Grand Canyon, but when I went there, I was in awe! It was soooo beautiful that I sat down on the edge and cried. Pictures can not show the true beauty of this place, the colors within the canyon, and the enormousness of it all. It is a place I recommend for everyone to see in person, believe me, it's worth the trip.

Grand Canyon and Bright Angel Lodge
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/02/07
We LOVED the Grand Canyon, it was spectacular. The Kachina Lodge was decent - really who cares when the Grand Canyon is just steps away. But, I must say, the food is HIDEOUS.... The Bright Angel Lodge was horrible. The service was horrible and the people were so darn unfriendly! We did have two kids with us and it cost us $80 for dinner. We ...
