Flagstaff is a clean, environmentally friendly, progressive city. It's small enough to provide a hometown feel, and large enough to have an active nightlife, as well as several other things to fill your days.

The whole Flagstaff area is magnificent! I very deeply appreciate the attention given to preservation of the past. The history here is deep and it was wonderful to have SO many places which make the point of sharing the rich culture and history. I found the people to be kind, friendly, and very helpfull.
