The least expensive way is by RVing. Stop when you want to, sleep when you want to and just plan your own itinerary. Must see is Denali National Park. Wished I could spend more time there.

Anchorage, what a beautiful city as well as it's people. Spent two weeks in Alaska this past summer enjoying sights that I've never seen (Mt Mckinley, with glacier landing,bears, moose) and will never forget. For dining, I recommend the Glacier Brewhouse (excellent salmon)and the Sourdough Mining Co. (corn fritters are a must). Alaska is a must see!!!!

Be sure to go to Seward and take a cruise to the Glaciers. Along the way you will get to see Otters, Whales, Dolphins, Sea Lions, and Eagles. The seven hours out to sea was fantastic I would recommend it to anyone going to Alaska.
