I found the place dirty and dusty. I wouldn't rush to go back. Possibly ok just to say you went to Mexico. Shanty-type buildings with tacky souvenirs...

It is absolutley beautiful In TJ! The old city look gives you a feel of warmth and makes you feel welcomed. The locals and usually friendly, but watch out for local vendors they will see your mother for the right price. But over all the hotels, the resturants, the shopping, the scenary is amazing. You will crave to go back again and again.

We went to Tijuana on a mission trip. So we were in the poorest part. But from what I could see it it isnt a very nice city. The people where we were, were very nice and welcoming. But downtown there is a lot of bad stuff going on. the driving is horrible and its just not safe. it is very dusty and unclean. so i wouldnt go there for fun but if you want to go there for a missions trip...its the perfect spot!!

Tijuana is a great place if you go with a local. The nightlife is great, but don't go to revolution avenue. It gets too ugly there. Instead go to plaza fiesta and you'll have a great time. Don't forget to visit rosarito and puerto nuevo for the best lobster.
