Great Restaurants (I mean it); it's an important cultural city; Nice people.
Mexico City is a great cosmopolitan experience. It is truly a mix of just about everything. Before you decide, think about some things: is your family the type that can live an adventure? Do you travel well? Are you used to trying new things? Do you speak a little ...

I love Mexico City
By SANTIAGO, 04/13/07
We just got back from our fourth trip to Mexico City, the first one in 15 years, and we love it indeed. Everybody was very kind with us.It is a very interesting city, very affordable, especially the hotels. The one we choose was the Galeria Plaza. One like this in other major city would have costed at least the double. The attractions are wonderful. We love it indeed.

A City full of contradictions
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/07
I was born near Mexcio City And I was raised in it, I came back after 20 years and I had great expectations to rediscover my old hometown, unfortunately everything was a complete disaster, maybe because I didn't go to "discover" the colonial and prehispanic pasts of this megalopolis. I went to see how the city evolved after all these ...

My girlfriend and I just spent the weekend in Mexico City to do some sight-seeing. WE stayed at the Hotel Emporio Reforma. The rooms were a bit small as should be expected in a big city, but this was a very nice hotel, centrally located, great service and great for the price. We toured the ruins at Teotihuacan which are incredible if you like ...

Love Mexico City!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/17/06
I took a 4 day trip to Mexico City recently and I loved it!
The majestic mexico tours were great and I really liked the tour of the Aztec pyramids at Teotihuacan. I also had a nice city tour.
This was a fun escape weekend trip that I want to take again later with my family.

Not what I was expecting

So EVERYONE told us we'd be kidnapped, robbed, assaulted, raped, etc. etc. The truth is I felt no less safe in Mexico City than in any European, Chinese, or American city I've traveled to. Yes, you have to take extra precauations such as not wearing fancy jewelry and only hiring private taxis at the higher-end hotels, but once you get ...

Mi casa es su casa

I went to Mexico as an exchange student, and after a week I fell in love! This is a vibrant place filled with history, culture, love and life! I have decided that I may be American in name and origin, but my soul is Mexican. I owe it all to my stay in Mexico City!
The biggest downfalls of the city are the smog, the piropos that we blonde ...
For the adventurous in spirit, this is a wonderful place to go. One can hardly see the city in a week but if someone was to go here I would recommend an afternoon in Coyohuacan. A day trip to Teotihuacan is a must. (One can go there by getting a bus from the North Bus Station which one can get to via the subway). One will also find museums near ...
