Get a map of the hotel zone and then based on this review figure out what your priority is. The zone doglegs to the left toward the town of Cancun. If you stay in the dogleg area that is the center of all that is going on. The most clubs and shows are located here. Cancun is awesome. The beaches are beautiful and the water is amazing. Crystal clear and brilliant turquoise. Very nice for swimming. It is easy to get around Cancun. The buses go down the main street constantly and are really cheap. Cabs are super expensive. The restaurants can get expensive and "free refills" on soda for example are not common.
