grand royal lagoonvery impress with this hotel less than 10 minutes walking distance from all of the beaches and bars in cancun. Very quiet and had the feel of a private resort without all the people and the breakfast is just as good as grandma's cooking. Just back from my 2nd tripCancun was nice. Stayed at the Gran Caribe Real (all inclusive), and booked nights out with Olympus Tours. They were very helpfull. Room was great-super view. Food was average, at best.
Management was pleasant and attentive.

Planning to go back next year!!!!I have to say that Cancun has been one of my best vacations ever. First, You need to stay minimum 5 days, if you can stay more, better. When we arrived at the airport a lot of mexicans try to sell you some packages (more like a time-share thing) do not fall for those. Cuncun!!!I liked the people they were nice though HUSTLERS. Well some where I'd like to know spanish before I go back. And stay away from Walmart they arent like ours they want to sell ou the display item for regular price. We all know that's not happening. The beach was beautiful. would love to go backMy vacation to Cancun was fantastic . Has a breathtaking atmosphere (especially at night)with beautiful sites to visit.

dont eat outside of your resort!My husband and I learned this the hard way... we went on a four wheeling adventure in the jungle and we were so hungry so when the mexicans placed a bunch of food on a buffet table we quickly ate up some nachos... BAD IDEA! I woke up the morning that we were leaving SO SICK! as soon as i got off the plane we were in the hospital for a week with E-COLI!
