My wife and I took a tour with Rudy Fregoso of Tour by Van on April 2, 2009 with a couple from Wales, Great Britain after the termination of our Panama Canal cruise. He was waiting on us at the pedestrian exit as he said he would be and he spoke excellent English. He had made room in the rear of his van to accommodate our luggage and made sure it ...
My Most Recent Mexican Rivera Cruise in Acapulco I am sure that the nicest thing Princess does for its passengers is the cold bottle of water it provides when we return from a warm weather port, only mid 80’s but the humidity is rough on those of us unaccustomed to it. Fortunately, Rudy arrived in an enormous windowed extended ...

Loved Acapulco-don't stay @ the Fairmont Princess
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/04/09
Acapulco was beautiful....
Fairmont Acapulco Princess was presented as a 5 star hotel. Public areas and service staff were excellent and warrented the rating. The rooms were disappointing and run down to say the least. I can't imagine that they would warrant even a 3 star rating. Very disappointing.
My honey and I recently returned from a fabulous trip to Acapulco with two other couples. It was the first time there for a few of us. We decided to forego the hotel scene and rent Casa Delfin, a private home. This is absolutely the way to go! It felt luxurious staying in this private home with incredible views of the Acapulco bay AND it was even ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/19/07
As a group of gay friends we went together to this famous resort. We can fully recommend it! Fabulous food at many dfferent prices. Clean beaches and something that's unique to Acapulco: warm water in the ocean!
Best area to stay in seems to be the Condesa or Costa Azul area. people are very gay-friendly! This really is a gay paradise!Bar ...

Happy Days!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/07/06
Certainly, everybody can enjoy a wonderful holiday in that beautiful Mexican port. I just went last November and I really had a great time there. Local people is very friendly, the fun never ends because there are too many places to go, you'll find restaurants, bars, museums, shows, night clubs, gambling places and miles and miles of sunny beaches. Definitively, you'll love Acapulco.
I went in March 2006 and had a blast. Most of the locals I encountered were very friendly. The nightlife is pretty insane, the Palladium is a world-class club. The cliff divers were amazing. I also recommend scuba diving and boat trips around the bay.

Etel Suites Hotel, Acapulco
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/06
Fabulous, 2bdrm condo, high on the hill where the Divers are, it overlooks all of Acapulco. After travelling for a month in Mx. we needed a nice spot to recuperate for a week or so, away from crowds and noise. The Ethel is written up in Lonely Planet, but didn't give it its real credit. The owners are friendly, the apartments are spotless ...

Stay away from Acapulco!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/08/06
I just returned from Acapulco, Mexico from a 7 day vacation @ the Avalon Excalibur. It wasn't pleasant. The Mexican people were not friendly, in fact, they jump in front of you, and the Mexicans take care of the Mexicans. We were ripped off many times by cab fares and even lied to over a boat trip. The food is very bland, although the water ...
Acapulco was wondeful! My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary a little late (2 months). We had never been, and didn't know what to expect. It was absolutely gorgeous! Perfect weather, perfect beaches, good food, plenty to see... Acapulco has it all!
