Nothing to really complain about (airport was a little far from the city). An incredibly friendly and open minded, with a beautiful river valley, strong idenity, strong culturaly and arts wise. Pretty much the opposite which was the opposite to this american tourist.

What I like about Edmonton is the sheer amount of greenspace and parkland. It is a city with over a million people, one of Canada's larger cities, but it still tries to keep a clean and enjoyable atmosphere. The parks are wonderful and the River Valley is incredible. From my experience, Edmonton outweighs all of the other west Canadian cities. The city is nicknamed "the city of champions", and its citizens do not deny it. The hockey is fantastic, and with the largest mall in North America (Mall of America is far smaller), it has a lot to offer other than the great people. I strongly recommend Edmonton, AB.
