It is not the history that counts in Jerusalem, but the people's attitude towards history. So many people in this city regard its historical, religious background with such deep respect and adoration that this gem of a city places in the top three in my list. It is a mishmash of different ethnicities and religions, a most astounding ...

a beautiful city full of great architecture, nice ppl, luxury areas and poorer areas, jews, christians, muslims, many many other tourists...
i'd recommend the old city, Ben Yehuda street, Mamilla complex and the old neighborhoods of Mishkenot Sha'ananim & Yemin Moshe.
I liked everything. This is history. If you believe in God, this is the right place. You'll meet there christians, muslims, all kind of people, the tomb of Jesus Christ, the old city of Jerusalem, etc. If you see this place, you sow everything. You will not need anymore Paris, Venice, Las Vegas...
Despite all of the ongoing conflict in this region, Jerusalem is a must see for all people at least once in their lifetime. The holy site is breathtaking and has always brought tears to my eyes when seeing it as the architecture and history is amazing. Security is always tight in Jerusalem, so I always felt safe when visiting.
