Rude people, wheater is horrible. The place kind of freaked me out cause of the fogg. Have seen better places in Europe, Amsterdam f.e. awesome city

Intended to stay a week in the Scottish Capital but was struggling for activities by day 2. The castle was nice but expensive, the view coming out of the main train station is stunning, 1st impressions 5* but when you get under the skin of the city there isn't a lot to do. If going spread your time between Glasgow, Inverness and Edinburgh, Scotland is wonderful Edinburgh is a let down.

I spent 6 weeks in Edinburgh, and would love to go back!! It's an amazing place where the people are friendly, the city is clean, and there are countless things to do.

A beautiful city.
I was there in june and the weather was good.The historical buildings are really very beautiful.I liked the castle very much.After this journey I wanted to see whole Scotland in the future.

Edinburgh Castle is a must. We stayed in a B&B about 13 blocks from City center. Very nice atmosphere. I love Scotland!

The Royal Mile & the castle are just a few sites worth seeing. Lots of good shopping & check for festivals that might be going on while you plan on being there.

Scotland is a fantastic place to visit and the people are wonderful and friendly. We visited in 1998 and were very nearly adopted by our B&B hostess. Compared with England, Scotland is much less expensive to stay and eat. Pub meals and B&B's are a savings and accomadations are usually wonderful.
