I absolutly love Edinburgh.I went in August and there was just so many things to do. I enjoyed the festivals and all the people I met. I loved the Tattoo, it was amazing. If you get a chance you have to go there.

I loved it. This was the best trip I have ever taken. There are so many historical sites and the people are amazing and kind. The festival in August makes everything crowded, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I tried to get a hotel a few weeks before and all were booked so plan early! I only wish I would have stayed longer.

Edinburgh Castle is a must. We stayed in a B&B about 13 blocks from City center. Very nice atmosphere. I love Scotland!

A great time to go is August when they have a whole month of festivals. Wear your drinking caps! Make sure to spend a day hiking on the Salisbury Crags. You get an incredible view from the top! Definitely worth the 4 hour train ride from London.

I studied abroad in Edinburgh a few years ago and just can't stop thinking about. This whole country is simply amazing. Everyone must go. The city is fantastic and you will have a great time here no matter what interests you! Just be careful here because you can spend a lot of $$$$.
