so bad too crowded too hot in summer not a good place to visit

Instanbul is very very cheap city , There is nothing to see there not safe and the people are rude , Go somewere else (italy spain greece). I'm not going back again !

Without a doubt, Istanbul has a lot to offer and it is a very beautiful city with a great architecture. However, the Turkish culture is still quite "different" from a western culture - after all they are still waiting to be a part of EU.

I love Istanbul. The people were friendly. The service the best I've ever had! The cuisine I love it! There is so much to see, historically it is just amazing! I can not wait to visit next year!
I miss it already. I have truly embrassed their culture.
I recommend seeing The Blue Masque, Hippodome, Hagia Sophia! Remarkable!!

Every time I eat Turkish food, I berate myself for not eating it more often. With its fresh ingredients, clean flavors and subtle spicing, this is one of the world's great cuisines. Not to mention it's healthy. And filling. And affordable.

I like Istanbul probably because I live here. After awhile it gets boring but other than that for a vacation it is very nice and exciting. There is a lot of history here and a wonderful nightlife full of clubs. The bosphorus is amazing especially during the summer.

Istanbul wasn't a place I had on my top ten list to visit. However, after visiting, I am very glad that I had the chance to experience it. A lot of products were cheap, although you have to haggle, something Americans aren't use to unless you're buying a car. I suggest for everyone to buy Turkish Delights -- a yummy, sugary snack. There is so much culture to see and experience that everyone would have a great time visiting.

Whoever says do not go there is WRONG. It's one of the world's oldest cities, only city built on two continents, lots and lots to see. of course it has problems just like every other major city. but you have to overcome those to see the real beauty.
