Just came back from a honeymoon cruise through Greece and Turkey. Turkey was amazing! The sites, the people, the food, the incredible history! I would go back in a heartbeat! Wish I had more time to spend in Istanbul. We were only there 2 days.
I was blown away by this city. The people were really friendly, air so clean, great food. It reminded me of San Franciso but a fifty times larger. We had dinner at a Russian Restuarant, cocktails at an Irish Pub, danced to Salsa music by a band from Havanna, Cuba, ate Greek pastries and sampled local appetizers all in just one nite. Fortunatley we were ther for several days. Would I go back - Yes !
