I had the pleasure to have lived in Geneva for 15 months. I would recommend traveling to the other end of the lake to visit Montreaux, sight of the annual Montreaux Jazz Festival. its a nice time to be there on there fete days in the summer very modern city but not much to do so it was quite boring for me but it was like a half hour by boat to lausanne and to the french side of the lake evian -les bains-...other than beautiful scenery its quite boring!!!!
