There is plenty to see in Madrid. I was only there for 3 1/2 days but i had a blast. The buildings are beautiful. The entire city itself is life a work of art. plenty of museums and great dining spots. Overall a fun city that you'll need to set out plenty of time to see it all.
I loved Plaza Del Sol. EF Tours was great too. They got us into all sorts of places to really get the European experience in only 6 days. There was food, castles, shopping, and flamenco dance lessons.

Among the more important museums are the Prado,Royal Palace collection, the Reina Sofia,Thyseen,Museum ...

City of the Night!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/07

I was particularly impressive with the new Museo Reina Sofia and Prado expansions. The Reina Sofia museum is dramatic and impressive inside and out. The Prado quite ...

I found myself angry and frustrated a number of ...

Madrid is a wonderful, friendly and safe city. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The restaurants are absolutely great. I enjoyed the trip very much and enjoyed sight seeing. You could walk around Madrid in the late hours of the evening and never run into any problems. I always recommend going to Spain for a holiday!
