In Madrid i loved everythin.it

WOW! Madrid....one week, seven days, what an experience! Everything except safety and I mean pickpockets, not that that happened to me. But it's just when I went shopping I've got to keep my bag close to me or else!
Anyways....I had a great time and the metro was a good transport. U can go anywhere u want and one zone is very big, so I didn't have to buy lots of tickets!
The men were/are great!! Ooh lala...haha..LOL

Great experience, friendly people, delicious food, full of history and culture. We stayed at Hotel Villa Real in Madrid, which has a great location, reasonable prices with excellent service and accomodations. If you decide to go to Barcelona don't miss the Restaurant "El Bulli" which has been nominated one of the best in the world by Michelin,(make reservatiions one month ahead)

The owner turned off the air condicioner(madrid was 40 degrees) at 2 am , and when I tried to cancel the others nights she told she would call the police if I didn't pay all the days I have reserved.Very rude.The book tax I paied by web for reservations included , the owner of the hostal didn't recognized.I was stolen.

Being honest..No beach but you are in spain..so first culture in Madrid and then sun and sea everywhere.

We just love el prado an Thyssen museum, the royal palace and the city night life. Take a tour and ask for "huertas zone" or "Barrio de las letras"

Get to know the metro. It will save time even though the walking is wonderful. Buy the day passess for the metro for as many days as you will be there.
Please ask for coffee with milk - cafe con leche- as coffee alone means just that.
