A value orientated red that packs punch for the dollar. This wine retails for around $15, but don't let the price tag fool you. Mellowed with a few years aging, the tannins are firm, but not overbearing. Plum and cassis notes on the fruit, hints of french oak, and a nice earthy finish you would expect in a Spanish wine. Drinks well alone, or with tomatoe sauce pasta dishes, grilled meats, and of course. paella.
